My name is Ariadna Murguia-Berthier, I’m a latina graduate student from UCSC, working with  Enrico Ramirez-Ruiz. 

My main research interest is the merger of compact objects through numerical simulations. My interest ranges from the very formation of such binaries through, for example, a common envelope phase all the way up to the merger and what happens after. In particular, I’m interested in what happens after two neutron stars merge, and the fate of the remnant.
